Rassie van der Dussen (full name Hendrik Erasmus van der Dussen) was born on February 7, in Pretoria, South Africa. He plays for the South African national team and the local Highveld Lions team.

He was named one of the five best cricketers in the country in , and he won the Cricket South Africa&#;s Rookie of the Year nomination a year later.
