Warrior (born James Brian Hellwig;[2] June 16, [source?] &#; April 8, ) was an Americanprofessional wrestler. Hellwig legally changed his name to Warrior in He was the biggest star of the s.[source?] His career had a boost when he defeated Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI, and it was also Hulk Hogan's first Wrestlemania loss, firstly before defeated by The Rock at WrestleMania X8.

Warrior died of a heart attack on the afternoon of April 8, at 54 years old,[3] 3 days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame[4] and less than a day after cutting a promo on Raw.[5]

Less than 24 hours before he died, Warrior gave a speech to the fans and wrestlers, past and present, in his Ultimate Warrior character.
